Аннотация:
Кратко описаны наиболее интересные результаты, обсуждавшиеся на 7-м Симпозиуме "Долговременные изменения и тренды в атмосфере" (Буэнос Айрес, Аргентина, 11-14 сентября 2012 г.) К наиболее интересным научным результатам следует отнести различные экспериментальные подтверждения вывода об охлаждении и оседании всей толщи средней и верхней атмосферы в результате увеличения в ней количества парниковых газов. Особенно важно то, что наблюдаемые различными методами изменения в термосфере и ионосфере значительно превышают уже сейчас тренды температуры и плотности, которые дают самые совершенные современные модели, и соответствуют модельным оценкам для удвоения количества парниковых газов, ожидаемого в 2100 г. Более подробно описывается доклад, посвященный геоинженерии ? возможным инженерным решениям проблемы компенсации увеличения СО2.

Abstract
The most interesting results discussed at the 7th Symposium "Long-term changes and trends in the atmosphere" (Buenos-Aires, Argentine, 11-14 September 2012) are briefly described. Various experimental confirmations of the conclusion on cooling and contraction of the entire thickness of the atmosphere as a result of increase in it of the greenhouse gases amount should be considered as the most interesting scientific results. Especially important is that the changes in the thermosphere and ionosphere observed by various methods already now exceed substantially the trends in temperature and density given by the most sophisticated current models and correspond to the model estimates for the doubling of the greenhouse amount expected in 2100. The paper dedicated to geoengineering: possible engineering solutions of the problem of compensating the CO2 increase is described in more detail.
