Представлены принципиальные особенности и инструментальная реализация созданного в Пятигорском филиале Северокавказского Федерального Университета комплекса пассивного зондирования ионосферы с использованием сигналов высокостабильных вещательных станций ВЧ-диапазона.

Abstract
In Pyatigorsk branch of the North Caucasus Federal University of open laboratory for the study of processes in the ionosphere. To study the ionosphere radiophysical methods created a complex passive sensing of the ionosphere using signals of highly broadcasters RF range. One of the first tasks, the study of traveling ionospheric disturbances. Traveling ionospheric disturbances caused by rapid heating of the E field in the oval during geomagnetic disturbances, signifi-cantly affect the propagation of radio waves decameter range. An experimental study of the relationship between the change in the parameters of radio waves propagating in the ionosphere and traveling ionospheric disturbances is rele-vant and attention to it in recent years has not abated. Research and forecast their impact on the characteristics of wave propagation have important implications.
For information about the structure and dynamics of these layers of the ionospheric plasma of the Earth used the exact time signal stations. The complex is in a mode of radio waves reflected from the ionosphere HF band and records the signals of reference stations.
The system is designed for the detection and recording of magneto-ionospheric disturbances of natural and artificial origin, studies of the effects of radio wave propagation in the presence of traveling ionospheric disturbances.The software is intended for operational management of the complex, forming, processing and storage. Data processing hardware and programming is done in an environment MATHLAB. Noted that the presence in the complex ADC and computer software allows you to process and simulate the effects of the ionosphere on the basis of amplitude measurements]. In earlier studies with the analog signal recording and manual digitization of the signal actually only used the Doppler shift. For visualization of the control of the signals along routes input metering system uses a software package is a virtual oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer. For modeling of traveling ionospheric disturbances in the software will lay an empirical model of the ionosphere and the theoretical model of PPA (traveling ionospheric disturbances).
